The Flexible Online Learning (FOL) Unit is a centralised Team within ATU Donegal, providing Educational Technology support, training and enhancement for the whole institution.
The Flexible Online Learning Unit welcomes both staff & students and is here to offer guidance on the use of Educational Technologies at ATU Donegal.
If you are a member of staff looking for digital support for any Learning & Teaching projects you are involved with, then we have a range of support mechanisms on offer. These include:
- Scheduled Workshops where you can meet with the FOL Team and other members of staff to acquire knowledge on digital platforms and apply these to your teaching practice
- Bespoke training, either individually or alongside your School or Department.
- The Staff Digital Toolkit, a self-paced area that will help you identify what resources you might need to develop. This includes information on course design and structure, using specific technologies, and outlines institutional policies and procedures that imapcted digital education.
As a team, we also focus outward, seeing what digital developments are emerging globally and scanning the horizon for the digital impacts on education. If you have a specific project you are working on or researching and you wish to discuss this, please get in contact via our 'Contact' page.
