LYIT/GPA Postgraduate Sports Scholarship

This recently launched LYIT/GPA (Gaelic Players Association) partnership allows for up to 4 fully funded, postgraduate places to male and female members of the GPA who wish to study at LYIT. The value of each scholarship is up to €5,750 for one year only and will be delivered through a full or partial fee waiver where necessary. LYIT will contribute 50% of the programme fee to a maximum of €2,875 with the GPA contributing the remaining 50% of the programme fee to a maximum of €2,875. If the programme fee is higher than €5,750 then the successful applicant will be liable for any shortfall that may exist.

Submission of an applications requires two simple steps:

(a) GPA members must apply to their programme of choice at LYIT through the normal procedures. Click here for full list of LYIT postgraduate courses available and application details.

(b) Applicants must subsequently apply directly to the GPA for the LYIT/GPA postgraduate scholarship providing details of the postgraduate programme they have applied for at LYIT.
