Minimum Entry Requirements
I completed the Certificate in Hotel Front Office and Accommodation Operations and the Certificate in Food and Beverage Operations in the School of Tourism, LYIT. I choose to pursue a career in the hospitality industry as there is always demand for trained staff in this growing and exciting industry and there are many opportunities for career development. What I loved most about the programme was the people I came in contact with and the support I received from lecturers. The real benefit for me in undertaking this programme was that I was able to earn and learn, continuing in employment while being able to gain a qualification at the same time. I would not hesitate to recommend this programme, I found it was a great experience and I was able to gain knowledge and skills that have opened up many opportunities for me in the hospitality industry.
