The general aims of the Diploma in Construction Practice are to:
- Produce graduates with the relevant knowledge and competence to be able to undertake duties as a contract administrator through the applied use of software intervention.
- Provide the students with a thorough knowledge of the construction process including BIM protocols, domestic energy appraisal, document control, procurement and digital communications.
- Prepare successful students to pursue further study to honours degree level by further study.
- • Encourage students to further develop their abilities in problem solving, self-directed learning and basic research techniques.
