Fashion Design with Promotion

As a mature student this course appealed to me due to the combination of marketing and fashion. As an emerging designer, these modules have proven to be very valuable. Coming from a creative background, I am now more confident in aspects regarding marketing and promoting my product and creating various platforms where I can engage with the wider community and identify my target markets.

To date I have found my experience at LYIT very pleasurable. From the staff in the canteen to those that man the reception, they are all extremely friendly, helpful and professional.

The lecturers that I have encountered are welcoming, very reassuring, and address individuals with discretion, equality and are very accommodating to specific needs.

As daunting as returning to education was, I can truly say from my own personal experience that any fears I had were quickly eradicated.

I was initially attracted to the course because it focuses on many areas in fashion design including sewing, pattern making, fashion photography, fashion videography etc. which enables you to have a wide range of skills. It's a great course and all of the lecturers are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you.

Doing this course has presented me with so many amazing opportunities including being a fashion innovation awards finalist twice and being runner up in the IBYE awards. I fully recommend this course to anyone interested in fashion design as you will learn so many skills within a fantastic learning environment.
