The Computer Games course at LYIT gave me the fundamental skills I needed to get my foot in the door of an interactive multimedia company in Canada and work with their games development team, but it also gave me strong core computing skills which I was then able to use to get myself a job in software development back in Ireland. I think it’s a good blend of creative and applied computing modules and opens the door to a range of different potential careers.
