In the event that a student withdraws from a course, full, partial or no refunds may apply, depending on the circumstances and date of withdrawal.
Please note that any decision to leave college has consequences that may not have been considered. Students are strongly advised to discuss any such proposal with their Head of Department and/or other support staff, such as LYIT’s Careers Advisor, Counsellor, or Access Officer before finalising a decision to leave.
If you decide to withdraw from LYIT after you have started your programme, you should follow the procedures for deregistration. When calculating any refund, we will consider the date of receipt of your deregistration form as the date that you left LYIT.
We will refund fees in accordance with the deregistration schedule as follows:

Please note that refunds are not immediate. However, they will be processed in a timely manner, but are subject to an authorisation process and bank processing timings. If you are eligible for a refund the funds will be returned to you by electronic transfer. Students are required to provide LYIT with their bank details.
