Just text ATU to 50808 to be connected to a trained volunteer. 50808 provides everything from a calming chat to immediate support for people going through a mental health or emotional crisis - big or small.

50808 is a first of its kind for Ireland: a free 24/7 text service, providing everything from a calming chat to immediate support for people going through a mental health or emotional crisis - big or small. 

From breakups or bullying, to anxiety, depression and suicidal feelings, our Crisis Volunteers are available 24/7 for anonymous text conversations. Our aim is to provide immediate support in the short term.


Epigium - Being Well, Living Well

The Being Well Living well programme is a suite of online resources developed to help students develop confidence and skills to manage wellbeing issues that may arise for them. It is designed to support students understand that they are not alone in experiencing challenges in their academic and personal lives – whilst also providing guidance on supporting their friends, and signposting when and where to seek further support if needed.

The toolkit covers 4 main themes:

  2. Feeling Well
  3. Staying Safe
  4. Spending Well
Being Well, Living Well

The online programmes allow students to dip in and out of the themed resources at any time. It also contains resources and supports to help students overcome pressures and anxieties. Note: Blackboard login required to access the resources.
