Welcome to the ATU Donegal Health Service webpage.
We offer a full general practice service free to all registered students with an emphasis on health promotion,
with a daily GP surgery and a full-time nurse.
There are three doctors who cover the weekly surgery - Dr David Khavia, Dr Supriya Rao, Dr Michael
Callaghan - and one full-time registered nurse, Louise o Donnell.
All information provided by the doctor or nurse is confidential and is not disclosed to any other person, without the
permission of the student concerned. All records are kept on a separate network to the main system and are not
shared. Preventative medicine and screening are also available.
The opening hours for the Health Services are listed in the Frequently Asked Questions link below. You can make
the most of the service by arriving on time for your appointment or contacting the Student Service Reception to
cancel if you are unable to attend. If you have any long-term illness which requires regular monitoring or
medication, please register with the medical service as soon as possible.
The college nurse and doctor is located in the College Health Centre on the first floor of An Dánlann in the Student
Services Suite. An appointment systems is in operation but emergencies will always be catered for. To make an
