The Registrar in conjunction with the Academic Administration & Student Services Manager co-ordinates Student Services. Student Services encompass:
Careers Office: Offers the opportunity to make the most of your transition from college to graduate employment by offering impartial confidential advice on your options when you leave LYIT.
Counselling Services: A professional counsellor is available to offer support, help and information to any student dealing with matters of concern.
Chaplaincy: The Chaplains welcome you to Letterkenny Institute of Technology and are available and willing to help in whatever way they can.
Medical & Health Services: A full general practice service is offered free to all registered students with an emphasis on health promotion, with a daily GP surgery and a full time nurse.
Access Office: Established to fulfil LYIT's commitment to widening access to the Institute for people who have traditionally been unable to benefit from higher education opportunities.
Sports: Letterkenny Institute of Technology has excellent indoor and outdoor sporting facilities.
Students' Union: Liaison with the Students' Union is an important aspect of the work of Student Services.
