LYIT strives to forge links with business, government and development agencies and the wider community. The Institute’s expertise, facilities and resources can be accessed in a number of different ways including:
- Collaborative Research
- Incubation and supports for start-up enterprises
- Customised training programmes
- Technology and knowledge transfer
- Collaborative engagements with external bodies
The Development Office within LYIT promotes and facilitates interaction between the Institute and external organisations and provides advice and assistance on the above activities including sources of funding, intellectual property and commercialisation issues.
