Semester 1
Induction
There will be a 3 day induction course on site on the following dates:
- Wed Sep 2nd - Mathematics
- Thursday Sep 3rd – Computer Systems
- Friday Sep 4th – Database Management
Note: Students should bring a good-quality laptop with at least 10G RAM which they will use during the induction course.
Block 1
The next on-site block of the PGDip will be on:
- Monday Sep 7th – Mathematics for Analytics
- Tuesday Sep 8th – Big Data Architecture
- Wednesday 9th – Business Intelligence
Block 2
The next on-site block of the PGDip will be on (Halloween):
- Wednesday Oct 28th – Mathematics for Analytics
- Thursday Oct 29th – Big Data Architecture
- Friday Oct 30th – Business Intelligence
Semester 1 will end on Dec 11th.
Semester 2
Induction
There will be a 2 day induction course on site on the following dates:
Monday & Tuesday January 18th – 19th – Programming Concepts and Design
Students will be provided with study material in advance of this course and will be expected to have done reasonable preparation
Block 1
The next on-site block of the PGDip will be on:
- Wednesday January 20th – Performance Engineering
- Thursday January 21st – Big Data Analytics
- Friday January 22nd – Secure Information Systems
Block 2
The next on-site block of the PGDip will be on (Easter):
- Monday March 21st – Performance Engineering
- Tuesday March 22nd – Big Data Analytics
- Wednesday March 23rd – Secure Information Systems
Semester 2 will end on April 22nd.
Placement (Certificate in Industry Studies)
To begin as soon as possible after this date.
Distance Learning Delivery Schedule
For distance learning weeks, modules will be timetabled in 2 hour blocks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30-11:30 and 12:30-2:30. Each module will have 2 by 2 hour blocks per week.
