Academic Partnership with Cloudera

The computing department of Letterkenny Institute of Technology have formed an academic partnership with a world leader Big Data company called Cloudera Inc.  The CAP (Cloudera Academic Program) allows us to get access to its industry-leading products and services.

“Cloudera’s courseware delivers a thorough overview of the Apache Hadoop ecosystem, role-specific technical instruction aligned with developer and administrator certification exams, and use case scenarios, complemented by hands-on exercises, labs, and virtual machines. Course overviews will be delivered to CAP participants via e-mail and are available online.

Any student who registers for a course affiliated with the CAP program must be actively enrolled in a degree or certificate program at the authorized institution at the time of registration. Cloudera will not directly charge any student who meets these criteria to register for the CAP program.
