- Minimum entry requirements

- 5 O6/H7 in the Leaving Certificate, to include Mathematics (F2/O6/H7) and either Irish or English (O6/H7), OR QQI/FET Level 5, OR equivalent qualification.
- Candidates who do not meet the above entry requirements may be admitted to the programme on the grounds of mature years (0ver 23 by 1st January in the proposed year of entry), if they have attained appropriate experience, preferably in a business environment, and attainment thresholds deemed equivalent.

- Describe the key areas of staff management
- Describe the key principles and practices of mentoring
- Demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of the mentor
- Develop a mentoring programme for their own organisation
