ATU Donegal Staff Induction

Induction day 2022

ATU Donegal’s HR team were delighted to host the 2022 annual induction on Monday 12 September and to have the opportunity to welcome our new staff to ATU Donegal. As part of our continuous commitment to promoting and advancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all our activities, the theme of this year’s annual induction was ‘Wellness, Motivation and EDI’. It was a very informative and enjoyable morning where new staff got to meet President Dr Orla Flynn and representatives from senior management across ATU.

Feedback has been extremely positive from staff.

It was a very well organised session, which set a great tone for the start of the academic year. I particularly liked the focus on being student centred which came through from all the speakers. Thank you.
It was a useful morning and there was great energy in the room! Great to do and good to see all the new starts together. It was a good opportunity to meet others in same space as ourselves. Thank you.
Thank you for conducting the induction day. It was very informative.
I must say, overall, the Induction was very well delivered, and having Nikki speak at the conclusion was quite inspirational, and with such a wow-factor impact. What a girl!

Wellness Motivation and EDI – Guest Speaker Nikki Bradley

In keeping with the 2022 Induction theme of ‘Wellness, Motivation and EDI’ we were delighted to end the induction with our guest speaker, Ms Nikki Bradley. Ms Nikki Bradley is a wellness champion and is an incredibly inspiring speaker covering topics such as resilience, learning to adapt, facing your fears, growth mindset and coping with change. Those in attendance who heard Nikki speak were truly inspired.

A video of Nikki's speech will be uploaded soon.
