Did you miss the CAO deadline? Are you interested in applying to attend university this September? Check out the CAO’s ‘Early Available Places’ facility, it’s not too late to secure a place at ATU Donegal.
ATU Donegal currently has a limited number of places available on 21 Level 6/7 programmes on the CAO’s ‘Early Available Places’ facility.
If you are an existing CAO applicant and are interested in this facility, then you can simply login to the “my application” facility and amend your choices. There is no extra cost for existing applicants; applicants must meet the minimum entry and the points requirements to secure a place on the programme.
If you haven’t yet made a CAO application, but have completed the Leaving Certificate, or are a full QQI FET Level 5 award, or are a mature candidate it’s still not too late to apply to join ATU Donegal. You can make a new CAO application for a fee of €45 on the ‘Available Places’ platform. Applicants must meet the minimum entry and the points requirements to secure a place on the programme.
ATU Donegal programmes available on the CAO ‘Early Available Places’ facility are listed as ‘LY’ and provide students who have not made a CAO application with an opportunity to apply to attend university this September.
Fiona Kelly, ATU Donegal Marketing Manager commented, “Available Places presents an opportunity for lots of students. Perhaps you are an existing applicant who is unhappy with the choices you have made or maybe you are a new applicant to the CAO system, now interested in attending university. This facility gives students a chance to secure a university place. Over the years, we have found that many students have opted for ATU Donegal through the ‘Available Places’ facility. It is particularly useful to students who have not made a CAO application and provides an opportunity to get into the CAO system after the normal application deadlines have passed. ATU Donegal currently has places available on 21 of our Level 6/7 programmes.”
