This programme is a response to the current need within industry for all staff to upskill and develop a detailed knowledge of GDPR as well as the requirement for organisations to develop a strategy for implementation.
This is an accredited programme in this specialised area which provides a much sought-after skill-set and knowledge as well as applied industry-based work-placement.
Learners will examine the implementation of new GDPR and role of Data Protection Officer, assess its impact from both industry and consumer perspectives and examine current case-studies, enabling them to gain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the law.
Work-placement will enable learners to gain an insight into the practical application of the regulation in their own or designated workplace which enables reflective learning and self-assessment.
