Looking back at the years I spent studying on the Business (Hons) degree programme at ATU Donegal, I can safely say that it was time well spent. Firstly, I received a top class business education from dedicated and inspiring lecturers who always sought out ways to enhance my development both personally and professionally. Secondly, the people I met along my journey made each day an exciting prospect as I looked forward to going to class, working on group projects, visiting organisations, and socialising with friends that I have made for life. Finally, the opportunities that have come my way since graduating with First Class Honours from this programme are a testament to the emphasis that is placed on providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their future career. Immediately after graduation I was awarded a scholarship from ATU Donegal to continue my studies through a Master of Business by Research. Now, the skills, knowledge, and confidence I’ve gained from studying on the Business (Hons) programme has enabled me to successfully apply for and be offered a scholarship to study a PhD in Business & Management at another University, something I could only have dreamed of before enrolling at ATU Donegal.

I graduated from ATU Donegal in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) degree. What I really enjoyed about my time at ATU Donegal was the smaller class sizes as it made it easier to build strong relationships with lecturers and classmates. I found my lecturers personable and approachable, and they were always available to give constructive feedback and support throughout the year which allowed me to excel in both assignments and examinations. All the modules in my course were relevant and I gained a great understanding of the business world by studying a diverse range of subjects which allowed me to find my passion, which I then pursued by completing a Master of Science in Marketing. Through classes and assignments, I was equipped with knowledge and skills that I now apply to real-life workplace situations.
