Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts programme will be equipped with a skill set that is hugely in demand both regionally and nationally. The focus of this programme is on preparing students for the transition to the work place.
The first semester focuses on adding to the students skill base in the areas of IT, law and marketing while further enhancing their understanding of how organisations work in the organisational behaviour module. The second semester focuses on experiential learning in the workplace and the application of the skills learned through formal study. The professional practice module prepares students for their work placement in an administrative environment, and throughout the placement students are supported in their learning by a business and academic mentor. Graduates will possess a comprehensive set of skills and competencies appropriate to entry level positions in administration functions.
Certain semesters of this course are taken in common with other courses.
