Entrepreneurship & Start-Ups
A critical objective of LYIT is to develop the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the Institute and to help individuals develop and apply their entrepreneurial talent. To this end, there are a number of ongoing initiatives at LYIT:
The CÉIM Enterprise Development Programme has just entered its fifth year, during which time it has supported over 40 high potential start-up businesses. This programme is being run in association with Institute of Technology Sligo, and is project managed by WESTBIC. The participants receive training, mentoring, space in CoLab and financial support as appropriate.
