The Computer Services Department's role is to provide technical services of the highest quality to the staff, students and the research community of the Institute, in a professional, legal and ethical manner. A detailed description of computer services policies is available through the Intranet (only accessible on campus).

Letterkenny Campus

Normal Hours: Computer laboratories will be generally available for schedule usage from 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
Morning Hours: Early opening will be on request from helpdesk 2 from 8:15 to 9:30, Monday to Friday.
Evening Hours: Evening opening of Computer laboratories will be available by request at Helpdesk 1 and Helpdesk 2 from 18:00 to 21:45.
Saturday Hours: Computer laboratories will be open on request from Helpdesk 2 from 10:00 –16:45.

Easter 2011

Spring semester, teaching block 3 ends on Friday 15th April.
The Institute closes for the Easter break at 1200 on Thursday, 21st April.
The Institute re-opens on Wednesday 27th April and teaching recommences on Tuesday May 3rd.

Computer Laboratories Opening Hours (Easter Break)

Access to laboratories will be available on request to the Help Desks from 0930 until 1730, 1800 – 21:15.
There will be access to facilities on Saturday 16th April on request to Help Desk 2 and hours are 1000 to 1645.
There will be NO access to facilities on Saturday 23rd & 30th April.
Some laboratories will be unavailable due to maintenance and examinations.
Normal term opening will resume Tuesday, May 3rd.

Users experiencing problems with the Open Access Computing Areas on the Letterkenny campus should contact the Computer Services Help Desk.
