Irish Student Health Conference a Big Success
Healthcare professionals from Irish third level colleges attend Irish Student Health Association Conference
The national Irish Student Health Association Conference, hosted by LYIT on 11 and 12 April 2014, took place in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny. The conference was well attended by healthcare professionals from all third level colleges in Ireland.
Delegates attended a variety of interesting, thought-provoking talks from leading authorities in the area of health promotion, chronic disease management and stress management. Newly elected President of the Irish Student Health Association, LYIT Nurse Hannah Glackin, commented “this was a very successful event and a great opportunity for all the
third level institutions to work cohesively towards developing best practice in healthcare for all students in the third level sector.” All in attendance remarked what a huge success the event turned out to be.
