‎Letterkenny Institute of Technology held its fifth annual Lá na Gaeilge on Tuesday, 12 March 2013 to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge.  A full day of Irish language themed activities took place throughout the day.  Staff and students got involved and used their cúpla focal.

Throughout the day an information desk gave students the opportunity to find out about Irish language courses, learning resources and services.

‎That afternoon at An Dánlann, the students got the opportunity to learn how to céilí dance under the expert ‎tuition of Sharon McGlinchey, a graduate of the Institute, followed by some traditional music in the company of   Pat Campbell (Keyboards) and Rachel Akkoç (Vocals).
