Whether you’re a first time student, a graduate or considering a return to education, there’s lots of choice at LYIT. We have got great CAO, Postgraduate, Part-Time and Springboard+ courses on offer. Industry-focused, our courses will lead to exciting job opportunities.

Join us to hear about the range of courses we have on offer within LYIT.  We will help you identify what options are available to you from an educational perspective.

CAO Available Places

At our Course Information Day you can meet with us to discuss the courses that are currently on offer through CAO Available Places. These may be new courses that opened for application after the Change of Mind deadline, or other courses where there are still places available.  As these courses become available at LYIT they will be advertised through the CAO.

Enabling Maths Course

Have you failed Leaving Certificate Maths? Don’t panic, the Enabling Maths Course at LYIT, developed in partnership with Donegal ETB, isdesigned to give young people a second chance to succeed in Mathematics. Staff from The Curve at LYIT will be on hand at Information Day to answer your enquiries in relation to Enabling Maths.

Part-time Courses

LYIT is offering an extensive range of flexible learning opportunities in a variety of interesting areas such as Languages, Fashion, Construction, Business, Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Science, and Sports Nutrition.  We have a course option suitable for all learners from preparatory studies, accredited Certificates/Diplomas and Degrees right up to Masters level.  A representative will be at our Letterkenny campus to discuss these courses with you and a full list is available here.

Hospitality, Tourism & Culunary Arts

LYIT’s School of Tourism (Killybegs) offers a range of full-time and part-time programmes.  The BA Hospitality and Tourism and Direct Entry Culinary and Hospitality programmes funded by Fáilte Ireland.  A representative will be present at our Killybegs campus to discuss your options with you.

Springboard+

LYIT and the Higher Education Authority are offering a range of free courses for the unemployed and these include Culinary Skills, Computing, Governance & Compliance in Financial Services and the Master of Arts in Accountancy.  A representative will be at our Letterkenny campus to discuss these courses with you and a full list is available here.

Accommodation and the Students' Union

If you are need of accommodation advice, advice on SUSI grants and money matters, then the Students' Union will be on hand to give advice and support at this event.

Student Services

Staff from student services at Letterkenny Institute of Technology will be available at this event to give advice and support to prospective students.
