Mic Léinn Instiúid Teicneolaíochta Leitir Ceanainn ag Staidéar san Eoraip

Mic léinn Erasmus ag taisteal chun na Fraince, na Gearmáine agus na Spáinne.

Tá mic léinn ó Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Leitir Ceanainn ar tí seimeastar a chaitheamh ar roinnt de na hollscoileanna is cáiliúla san Eoraip mar chuid den chlár soghluaiseachta Erasmus. Gach bliain cláraíonn níos mó ná 100 mac léinn ó áiteanna ar fud na hEorpa le hInstitiúid Teicneolaíochta Leitir Ceanainn agus cláraíonn mic léinn Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Leitir Ceanainn ón gcúrsa Gnó Idirnáisiúnta agus Teangacha le hinstitiúidí mórcháiliúla ar nós an Scoil Ghnó Sup-de-Co in Amiens, an Fhrainc; Hochschule Bremen sa Ghearmáin; agus Escola Universitària del Maresme atá mar chuid d’Ollscoil Barcelona, an Spáinn.

LYIT students to study at renowned European universities. Barry Gregory (Drogheda), Sinead Jones (Glencolmcille), Stephanie Krebs (Tubbercurry) and Michaela Woods (Bunbeg) who will be studying at School of Business in Amiens, France. Laura Murray (Letterkenny) who will study at Escola Universitària del Maresme which is part of the University of Barcelona, Spain. Julie O’Connell (Letterkenny) and Sharon McGlinchey (Ballybofey) who will attend Hochschule Bremen in Germany.

The Erasmus programme encourages mobility between European third level institutions and LYIT has been part of the programme for over ten years.

The benefits of study abroad programmes are many. “This programme is a window onto the world for the students,” says Dr Sylvie Walsh, International Co-ordinator.

LYIT student Barry Gregory adds, “I am really excited to be going to Amiens School of Business - it has a very good reputation. It will be interesting to see how they teach business and it is only 50 minutes from Paris!”
