    The central aim is to equip Award holders with a range of knowledge, skills and competencies in Business and Languages for use in an International context.
    Award holders will have developed three sets of inter-related knowledge, skills and competencies.
    • A range of basic business skills
    • A familiarisation with the general and business context in which these skills are practised
    • A competence in one European language and a working knowledge of a second European language
    Minimum Academic Entry Requirements
    Basic entry requirements are five passes in the Leaving Certificate including Maths and English/Irish, or an equivalent qualification.

    Learning Outcomes
    On successful completion of this programme graduates will:
    • have a knowledge, skills and competence level in a major language at B2/C1 level on the Common European Framework and at B1/B2 level in a minor language
    • have a knowledge, skills and competence level of the cultural and business environments where the two languages are spoken
    • have an understanding of a range of business principles, a basic business skills set and the ability to apply these in an international business context

    Holders of this Bachelor Degree may proceed to the Bachelor of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Business & Languages programme at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
