    • Be able to identify and assess the threats to information systems security and evaluate information systems security defence techniques.
    • Be able to identify and describe the considerations that affect the choice of IT applications, IT platforms, Data Access Policies and IT services.
    • Be able to design and conduct a comprehensive research project.
    • Develop and maintain an effective ethics programme.
