The Curve, formerly known as the Access Office, was established to support:

• Mature Students
• Students with physical/learning difficulties
• Students from low income families
• Students in need of Maths support
• Students in need of Communications Support

The Curve is staffed by the Access and Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator, two Learning Support staff and a clerical officer. A number of additional staff are employed to facilitate numerous support service initiatives.

The Access Office is situated in a purpose built Learning Support Unit. The Learning Support Unit occupies 320 m2 and includes – Two Computer Labs, Maths Learning Centre, Classroom/Study Room, Consultation Room, Technician’s Office and Two Project Offices.
