How do I submit an FOI request?
An FOI request must:
- be in writing (either by letter or in the case of personal requests, by email)
- state that the information is being requested under the FOI Act
- be addressed to the Freedom of Information Officer, Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

What information is available?
Any official information held by public bodies can be sought under the Act.
» Can anyone ask for reasons for decisions?
Can anyone ask for reasons for decisions?
A person who is materially affected by a decision may request reasons for that decision. This is a different type of request than the regular request for records. It is a Section 18 request (application form available from the FOI Office).
